Featuring ESHOPPS' exclusive Dual Water Channel Design (ECD), AQUA-FUGE uses two separate water flow channels: one for the Refugium and the other for the Skimmer compartment.
\nThis unique design allows water, once it enters the sump, to travel through each compartment following dedicated paths.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The advantage of having two separate water channels is that dissolved organic waste can be easily removed by skimming. In addition, having a separate Refugium compartment provides an area for possible additional biological filtration.
\nPlacing Macro Algae inside the Refugium compartment will facilitate the removal of unwanted nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates. <\/p>\n
