Schego heaters are made of high-quality titanium tubing, so they are unbreakable and resistant to seawater. All heating elements are earthed and guarantee a high standard of safety. Their power range extends from 50 to 600 W.

The new PTC aquarium heaters made of titanium tubes are particularly energy-efficient, as their output depends on heat extraction. If the heater extracts a lot of heat, it independently regulates its temperature and increases its output. As soon as it reaches its maximum temperature, the power decreases again and hardly any current flows. Thanks to this self-regulating property, PTC heaters cannot overheat, which makes them particularly safe.

If a certain temperature is to be reached and maintained, the Schego TR2 thermostat is recommended. It can be loaded with up to 2000 W, and thanks to its ease of use is ideal for both the hobby aquarium owner and the professional user. Its LC display shows the operating parameter, the measuring range extends from - 55 °C to + 125 °C. The indexing accuracy can be chosen from 0.1 °C to 10.0 °C in 0.1 °C increments. The display can be rotated 180° using buttons. The TR2 can reliably adjust cooling and heating devices.
