FlorinAxis provides:

Citric acid and citrate: source of organic carbon and well-known stimulator of the Krebs cycle; carbon is needed for all organic compounds.

Magnesium: catalyst of the Krebs cycle, component of chlorophyll, necessary for enzymatic activation

Humic and fulvic acid: promote nutrient uptake, stimulate root and general growth, aid photosynthesis, stimulate enzyme production in plants.

Kelp: provides natural phytohormones needed for plant growth and flowering

Instructions and Guidelines

FlorinAxis helps create an environment conducive to healthy, growing plants; it is part of a complete plant aquarium management protocol and is most useful when used in conjunction with supplements that provide the other essential nutrients. Water care products that provide the full range of nutrients, such as Brightwell Aquatics FlorinMulti, Florin-K, Florin-Fe, and FlorinGro should be used according to the needs dictated by the individual aquarium. Shake the product well before use.

Beginner: For the first 3-5 weeks of use, add 5 ml once a week per approximately 189.3 litres (50 gallons) of aquarium water; increase dosage later depending on perceived nutrient need. Densely planted aquaria and/or those wanting rapid plant growth (e.g. aquaria with intense light and use of CO2) may benefit from more frequent supplementation. When used in this way, 250 ml treats up to 9464 litres (2500 gallons).

Expert: daily dosing is recommended rather than weekly dosing; daily dosing maintains a more stable and natural environment than weekly dosing, where nutrient concentrations peak immediately after dosing and then gradually decrease during the week. For daily dosing, add 6 drops per 189.3 litres (50 gallons) of water per day; adjust dosing after 3-5 weeks depending on plant appearance and perceived nutrient need. Carbon supplementation is something that most plant aquarium enthusiasts are interested in, if they don't already use it. The source of Carbon contained in FlorinAxis is taken up and used by the plants according to their needs, exactly the opposite of the widespread dispersion of gaseous CO2 in the aquarium. Because of this, it will take some experimentation on the part of the hobbyist to determine how much carbon in this form his plants need. Enthusiasts already using CO2 plants will notice the benefits of adding FlorinAxis due to the positive effects it has on the Krebse cycle on other aspects of plant growth. As the availability of Carbon is often a limiting factor in plant growth, the most noticeable results will usually be seen in plant aquaria in which no form of Carbon supplementation has been employed; however, all aquaria can benefit from the formula of this supplement.
