To create a favourable habitat for fish and plants in both ponds and aquaria, it is necessary to ensure adequate oxygenation that enriches the water with the amount of oxygen necessary for the development of 'good' bacteria.
During the warmer months, oxygenation tends to decrease as excessive heating of the pond or aquarium causes oxygen deficiency; the water thus loses its natural balance and the fish do not receive enough oxygen to live optimally. A lack of oxygen can also encourage the growth of harmful bacteria and algae.
Excessive cold also causes oxygenation problems: without proper ventilation, water currents are not created. The pond may therefore freeze, depriving plants and fish of oxygen.
Therefore, the use of an oxygenation system is strongly recommended.

To ensure a long service life, it is important that the pump is installed above the water level, otherwise water will flow backwards and there will be no ventilation. Alternatively, a non-return valve can be used.

The high outlet pressure is achieved by the double air chamber. Ideal for continuous use. 9 or 18 mm outlet.
