The HI782 nitrate colorimeter (high scale) is specifically designed to quickly and accurately determine high nitrate levels for marine aquaria and marine applications. With an electronic digital readout, it is no longer necessary to struggle to determine colours visually.
Nitrate is the final stage of the nitrogen cycle. Excessive amounts of nitrate in marine aquaria facilitate the growth of undesirable organisms such as algae and dinoflagellates. The HI782 is a simple, accurate and inexpensive way to measure nitrate from 0.0 to 75.0 ppm (as NO3-), in your saltwater aquarium.
