ONE-4Reef is a super-concentrated pure organic form of our proportionally consumed marine aquarium maintenance system in one container. It contains all the necessary trace elements contained in seawater, organic micronutrients and amino acids in one product! Ready-to-use to maintain a thriving and colourful marine aquarium. Highly concentrated (1L contains 50,160 mg/l calcium and 7,000 °dKH/l). Specially designed for use with our Reef Keeping System (RKS) but can also be used on its own or in aquaria with calcium reactors.

ONE-4Reef can significantly reduce nutrients due to the bacterial activity produced by organic dosing, leading to pale colouration and stagnation in the marine aquarium. Therefore, it is recommended to monitor NO3 and PO4 and to dose Modern Reef N + and P + if necessary, especially in low-nutrient reef aquaria.

ONE-4REEF ALONE AS A METHOD OF MAINTAINING A MARINE AQUARIUM

If you prefer organic dosing and a form of balling other than RKS to maintain your marine aquarium, then you can use ONE-4Reef alone. Start by dosing 4 ml of ONE-4Reef per 100 litres. Then increase by 2 ml per 100 litres every 2-4 days until KH and calcium remain constant and find your maintenance dosage. Test KH and calcium regularly and use calcium as a dosage regulator. This is because the KH level provided by ONE-4Reef (like all types of organic balling) may take up to 2 days to start being detected by a KH test kit. Do not exceed 20 ml per 100 litres per day and do not forget to use Modern Reef Complete Reef Food and Polypop to complete the proportional consumption system. If your marine aquarium is large and you do not want to refill constantly, you can divide the dosing and connect as many containers and dosing pumps as you wish. For example, if you dose 400 ml per day of ONE-4Reef, you can connect 4 containers to 4 dosing pumps and dose 100 ml of each per day. It will last for a long time until you change the containers or refill them. Just keep in mind to multiply the total dosed amount when applying Modern Reef Complete Reef Food and Polypop.

ONE-4REEF WITH MODERN REEF RKS

The ONE-4Reef can be used with Modern Reef - RKS - (Reef Keeping System) as a 'money-saving' application and to benefit more from the included organic and inorganic Balling dosage:

• Maximum colour and growth of all corals, especially SPSs
• Extreme polyp extension on all corals, especially acropora
• Reduced accumulation of by-products such as sodium or chloride
• Cleaner rocks and sand
• Clearer water
• Reduces excess nutrients such as NO3 and PO4

Our research found that the best results were achieved using this method and helped to significantly reduce the consumption of Modern Reef - RKS (Reef Keeping System). It is important to always test the KH and Calcium when you start using ONE-4Reef for the first 2 weeks. Also, keep in mind that the KH level provided by ONE-4Reef may take 2 days to start measuring with KH test kits. You can choose to use it with the Modern Reef - RKS in 2 ways: You may choose to use it with the Modern Reef - RKS in 2 ways:

RKS at 75% and ONE-4Reef at 25%

RKS at 50% and ONE-4Reef at 50%

(% taken from the daily dosage of RKS) RKS at 75% and ONE-4Reef at 25%: To use ONE-4Reef in this way, reduce the daily dosage of RKS by 25% and dose the same reduced amount in ml of ONE-4Reef daily. Then maintain ONE-4Reef without changing the dosage and continue to use the RKS as you normally would. You can later increase ONE-4Reef to more than 25% and decrease the dosage of RKS simultaneously and slowly to use more ONE-4Reef and less RKS. You can slowly bring it up to the maximum and equal daily dosage of RKS, which will make it 5 parts equal dosing system as explained below. Just keep in mind not to exceed the daily dosage of RKS with ONE-4Reef. Please leave an interval of 5-10 minutes between each dose of each pump. RKS to 50% and ONE-4Reef to 50%: Converts the RKS and ONE-4Reef into an equal 5-part dosing system. To use the ONE-4Reef in this way, reduce the daily dosage of the RKS from the 25% by the same reduced amount in ml of ONE-4Reef, then wait 4 days, then dose all 5 equal parts until KH and calcium are kept constant between 7.2-8.5 dKH and 390-440 mg/l calcium. If you are starting from scratch with Modern Reef, start by dosing 4 ml per 100 litres from each of the 5 containers (4 RKS containers and 1 ONE-4Reef) test daily and adjust the daily dosage by 2 ml per 100 litres until KH and calcium are kept constant between 7.2-8.5 dKH and 390-440 mg/l calcium. Please leave an interval of 5-10 minutes between each dose of each pump. A disadvantage of using ONE-4Reef with RKS together is the need for a 5th dosing pump. It is recommended to use a 5th dosing pump and calibrate it as you would for the RKS. If this is not a feasible option, you can still dose RKS KH1 and RKS KH2 in one container and multiply the dosing by 2. So, for example, if you are dosing 50 ml of each container, you can dose 100 ml of RKS KH1 and RKS KH2 (combined in one container) and 50 ml of RKS Cal and 50 ml of RKS Mag. You will then have an additional dosing pump free for ONE-4Reef.

ONE-4REEF WITH CALCIUM REACTOR

ONE-4Reef can be used in marine aquaria with calcium reactors. It is the same as using ONE-4Reef alone as a maintenance system for the basic marine aquarium, but in this case it is necessary to reduce the capacity of the calcium reactor of the 50%. Once the capacity of the calcium reactor has been reduced to the 50%, start with daily dosing of 2 ml per 100 litres. Then adjust the dosage by 1 ml per day per 100 litres until KH and calcium are kept constant between 7.2-8.5 dKH and 390-440 mg/l calcium.
