The manufacturer informs:

The heating element is made of titanium and is designed for heating water in aquaria and terraria. It is seawater resistant, indestructible and is the optimal temperature complement to the Schego TR2 thermostat.

Instructions for use and maintenance:

• Ensure that the contents of the packaging are complete and undamaged.
• It is possible to attach the heating element in any desired position below the water surface by means of the suction cups. Please note that these do not adhere to uneven or dirty surfaces. Therefore select a smooth surface and clean it so that it is free of dirt or grease.
• The element can be damaged if it is not completely surrounded by water.
• Pay attention to the immersion depth, minimum A (fig. 1 / 2). During vertical installation, this is the minimum point at which the heating element must be immersed in water.
• For horizontal installation, ensure that the heating element is always immersed in the flowing liquid.
• Make sure that the power of the heating element is suitable for the volume of water to be heated:
• an incorrect voltage can destroy the heating element.
• Only connect the heating element to the 230V power socket.
• The power cable of the element heating system can be connected to the mains socket or to a suitable temperature controller (e.g. Schego TR 1000, Art. No. 110).
• Regularly remove debris deposits on the heating element with a brush.
• If the cable is damaged (Fig. 1/5) replace the entire heating element.

Important safety instructions:

Use a temperature controller (Schego controller TR 1000, Art. 110) to prevent uncontrolled heating of the heating element.

The heating element is driven by electricity and generates high temperatures that can cause burns, injuries and material damage.

Before carrying out any work, disconnect the heating element from the mains and wait for it to cool down before touching it.
