Le funzioni di lavaggio EasyClean:

• Posizione dell’interruttore su “Filter” (Filtro) = funzionamento normale: tramite una pompa, l’acqua è spinta nel filtro a pressione e poi ritorna, filtrata, nel laghetto
• Posizione dell’interruttore su “Clean” (Pulizia) = modalità di pulizia: girando l’interruttore, si accende il motore integrato nella testa del filtro, il quale fa ruotare le spugne filtranti all’interno e rimuove lo sporco grossolano senza dover aprire il filtro.
In modalità pulizia, l’acqua sporca viene scaricata attraverso un collegamento aggiuntivo e può essere utilizzata, ad esempio, per innaffiare il giardino.

The pump capacity must be adapted to the size of the filter: if the pump capacity is too high, the filter will overflow and this should be avoided at all costs. Take into account the circulation cycle of the pond and the retention time of the water in the filter.

Depending on the type of use, the optimal circulation cycle depends on various factors: the amount of fish, the presence of plants, sunlight, and the desired water clarity.

A cycle is defined as the complete replacement of the water in the pond; for example, in a 1000 litre pond with a 500 L/h pump, the complete replacement cycle will last 2 hours.

In the case of ponds with fish or koi carp, 1 complete cycle every 3 hours is recommended; 2 cycles in 1 hour should be achieved in the case of no plants and a high density of fish.

In the case of decorative ponds (i.e. with plants and no fish), less circulation is required. In this case, one cycle per day may be sufficient to enrich the pond water with oxygen and to keep the water moving.
