Le pompe della Serie CTF sono caratterizzate da un bassissimo consumo energetico; se si paragona il consumo d’energia della serie CTF ECO a quello di altre pompe per laghetti, si noterà un notevole risparmio in termini di consumo di elettricità.

La pompa SunSun della serie CTF offre, oltre al suo uso convenzionale come pompa per filtri o per ruscelli, la possibilità di utilizzarla con uno skimmer, collegandola al raccordo per l’aspirazione.
Nella confezione sono inclusi un secondo portatubo e un tappo di chiusura. Se non si utilizza il raccordo di aspirazione esterno per lo skimmer, l’uscita può essere chiusa con questo tappo.

Raccordo per skimmer:
Attenzione: l’attacco di aspirazione supplementare non può essere utilizzato contemporaneamente all’aspirazione attraverso la scocca della pompa (l’uno esclude l’altro).
Per evitare che il filtro del laghetto collegato a queste pompe trabocchi, raccomandiamo di usare un deviatore a Y. Utilizzato come by-pass, permette inoltre di alimentare un ruscello o di erogare potenza a uno sterilizzatore UVC o un filtro aggiuntivo.

The pump capacity must be adapted to the size of the filter: if the pump capacity is too high, the filter will overflow and this should be avoided at all costs. Take into account the circulation cycle of the pond and the retention time of the water in the filter.

Depending on the type of use, the optimal circulation cycle depends on various factors: the amount of fish, the presence of plants, sunlight, and the desired water clarity.

A cycle is defined as the complete replacement of the water in the pond; for example, in a 1000 litre pond with a 500 L/h pump, the complete replacement cycle will last 2 hours.

In the case of ponds with fish or koi carp, 1 complete cycle every 3 hours is recommended; 2 cycles in 1 hour should be achieved in the case of no plants and a high density of fish.

In the case of decorative ponds (i.e. with plants and no fish), less circulation is required. In this case, one cycle per day may be sufficient to enrich the pond water with oxygen and to keep the water moving.
