High-performance pressed activated carbon cartridge for osmosis systems with standard 10″ cups; made from super granular activated carbon produced with selected qualities of high-density coconut shells, a large micro-pore volume and a high equivalent surface area.
It is perfect for the purification of drinking water for aquarium use due to its high capacity to remove chlorine, chloramines, lead, odours, and pharmaceutical treatment residues.

Particularly suitable for the reduction of heavy metals (Hg, Mg, Ni, Ba, Sr, Zn, Ag, Cu, Cd).

Cartridges SuperPure are registered at Water Quality Association and comply with the requirements NSF/ANSI for VOC and THM reduction, lead reduction, chloramine reduction, chlorine taste and odour, as well as other requirements relating to the purity and safety of their materials of construction. The production plant is certified to the ISO9001 standard.

Unlike commercially available carbon block cartridges (which use hydrophilic carbons), SuperPure uses hydrophobic carbons which guarantee excellent absorption capacity.
This combination of high-performance carbons, unique binders and proprietary manufacturing processes offers exceptionally low pressure drop, high dirt-holding capacity and excellent contaminant reduction.
